Aleksandar Savkovic

Aleksandar Savkovic has participated in WordCamps both as a speaker and as an organizer, and attending some of his talks will likely provide you with valuable information on how to improve your community and team dynamics. Here is what he has to say about himself:

Google helped me to understand that WordPress is the next big thing in my life. So I reconsidered my profession and from the construction site supervisor, I became a Web ” WordPress” developer at the age of 34. I believe that BIO should be seen as an ongoing process. Rather than a static snapshot, whereby we are perpetually re-framing, re-thinking and re-considering ourselves. At the moment I’m managing Belgrade office at Enartia group of brands and coaching the dev team in a better tasks execution. Thank you Scrum 🙂

At WordCamp Sofia 2018 Alex will present a talk about using agile principles to create the culture of the business you’re running. See „Agile Culture, Not Agile Frameworks“ in the first sessions block of the day.

Brecht Ryckaert

Brecht Ryckaert has been a big WordPress fanatic for years now. For 10 years he’s been working as a support engineer and WordPress-expert at Combell.com. He loves to talk about subjects such as security, performance and problem solving. Whenever he’s not working with WordPress, he loves to see a good movie, enjoy an uplifting or epic soundtrack or sip on a good single malt whisky.

In his talk, Brecht will dive deep into the hack territory and will analyze the execution of a hack and how we can understand the way our website has been compromised.

Nemanja Cimbaljevic

Nemanja participated in our 2017 edition as an MC and he’s about to visit WordCamp Sofia agan, this time as a speaker. He’s a PHP developer, WordPress Enthusiast and Open Source Advocate. Enjoys traveling, meeting new people and learning about new places. He often says WordPress is not just a platform, but an idea, a cause. He often participates as volunteer, speaker, co-organizer and co-host for various WordPress related events, and is always looking new challenges. Recently jumped into DevOPS stuff, server and system infrastructure. Finds virtualization, containerization, orchestration and microservices to be new „cool kid“ in the neighborhood.

Nemanja will be presenting a guide for getting better acquitted with Docker and will provide some practical tips on getting the best of it.

Mitko Kochkovski

Mitko started working with WordPress in 2010. He is a Codeable expert and he loves creating unusual websites, especially with WooCommerce.

I aim for perfection and I’m eager to expand my knowledge and skill base, so I always look forward to new challenges. My love for WordPress and the need to stay up to date has driven me to attend WordPress Conferences all over Europe. I’ve also benefited from my connection to the small but growing WordPress community in Macedonia. I like to give back to the WordPress community by adding plugins and helping with core updates. Last year I founded webpigment.com where we specialize in WooCommerce themes and plugins.

Mitko will share his knowledge about how you can leverage the WordPress REST API to build awesome websites by using React.js for rendering the front-end outside the WordPress Theme implementation.
